PanAtlas takes your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you (the data subject) securely. In this Privacy Statement, we explain which data we process and for what purpose. You can also read about your rights regarding our processing of your personal data in this Privacy Statement. Who is PanAtlas?
PanAtlas is the private limited company PanAtlas, with registered offices at Coolsingel 104, 3011 AG Rotterdam, registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 24397653.
PanAtlas is the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data by PanAtlas.
How does PanAtlas use your data?
Below you will find an overview of the purposes for which PanAtlas processes your personal data. Each purpose is indicated by which data PanAtlas uses for that specific purpose, the legal basis for processing that data, and how long PanAtlas retains the data. For clarity, we’ve grouped everything by data flow type.

How do we obtain your personal data?
PanAtlas has data about you because you have provided that data to us.
What are your rights?
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights with regard to your data and its processing:
Inspection
You can always view and, if necessary, change your personal data in your account. If you want to see the personal data PanAtlas has stored about you, you can submit a request for access.
Change
If you want to make changes to the personal data you’ve seen as a result of a data access request and you can’t change it yourself in your account, you can submit a request to PanAtlas. You can request that PanAtlas modify, correct, supplement, delete, or shield your data.
Restricting processing
You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request PanAtlas to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to object
If certain processing takes place on the basis of the ‘legitimate interest’ of PanAtlas or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing.
Data transfer
You have the right to obtain your personal data from PanAtlas. PanAtlas will provide this data in a structured and commonly used format that can be easily opened using other common digital systems. This also allows you to transfer your data to another provider.
Withdraw consent
In all cases where the basis for a particular data processing operation is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This will not affect past processing, but it does mean that we will no longer be permitted to process that data. PanAtlas may therefore no longer be able to provide you with certain services.
Response by PanAtlas
A request can be sent to info@panatlas.com. PanAtlas will honor your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than one (1) month after PanAtlas receives such a request. If PanAtlas rejects your request, we will indicate in our response why the request was rejected.
Recipients of the personal data
The data can be passed on to:
- Processors. A register of processing activities has been established and is available and can be requested upon request. We have also concluded a processing agreement with our main processors, which can also be requested from us.
PanAtlas may be required to provide your data to a third party, for example on the basis of a legal obligation.
Transfer to third countries or international organisations
For technical and operational reasons, for example, it may be necessary to transfer your (personal) data to PanAtlas affiliated companies outside the European Economic Area. Because privacy regulations there may not offer the same level of protection as within the European Economic Area, PanAtlas will use the Privacy Shield or the EU Model Clauses to protect your privacy as much as possible. If necessary for your booking, PanAtlas will transfer your (personal) data to countries without an adequate level of protection. You can withdraw this consent at any time, but not after booking.
What are cookies and how does PanAtlas use them?
Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that are sent to your browser when you visit the PanAtlas website and then stored on the hard drive or in the memory of your computer, tablet, mobile phone, or other device (hereinafter: “Device”). Cookies placed through the PanAtlas website cannot damage your Device or the files stored on it. When we say “cookies,” we mean not only these small pieces of (text) information, but also similar techniques that collect information, such as device fingerprinting.
Can this Privacy Statement be changed?
This Privacy Statement is subject to change. We therefore recommend that you regularly review it for any changes.
